Zombie Firestorm is the 13th level in The Demon Realm.
Layout[]
This level takes place in a burning modern city that was once a peaceful city before Loki and his army burned it all up with flames and lava and the once-living human have been turned into zombies.
The player will travel between many destroyed buildings on top as the street is overflowing with zombies.
The Human Zombies are a unique enemy type, as while they can be stopped temporarily after taking enough damage, they can only be killed by using a shotgun or explosive weapons like a grenade launcher. Another way to permanently defeat a Zombie is to become invincible after collecting a Starman. There are also fire-based demon enemies located throughout the level, such as Fire Bats, Fire Demons, Ghostly Eyeballs and Living Flames. In addition, there are explosive barrels to watch out for and POWs to rescue for power up and weapons.
After getting through the flaming city, the player grabs the fagpole to clear the level as they go to Accursed Ruins next on the map.

Trivia[]
- This level originally replaced Raccoon City, a level based on Resident Evil in the v0.785 version of MKF. However, Raccoon City was later reinstated as a level and placed in the World 2 map in the v0.82 update.
- The replacement of Raccoon City to Zombie Firestorm for World 4 was a bit controversial for the MKF fans before the developer's resurrected Raccoon City in v0.82 updated with some layout changes.
- The appearance of the barrels here is probably a reference to the red explosive barrel used in the Resident Evil games to clear out number of enemies.
- The Zombies being fought in this level come from Metal Slug 3 and Metal Slug 4.
- The Killer Dogs and Licker used to appear in this level before they where removed in v0.82 updated.
- In earlier versions, the car graphics and highway tileset come from the Metal Slug games. In 0.82, the layout has been revamped to accommodate the reinstatement of Raccoon City.
