Zero was the final boss of Kirby's Dream Land 3. It was originally planned to be a boss in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, but was ultimately scrapped.
Background[]
A mysterious being from space, Zero was the leader of the Dark Matter that invaded Planet Popstar. It confronted Kirby in Hyper Zone, a strange pocket dimension, after Kirby defeated Dark Matter. During the battle, it spawned Mini Dark Matter and fired blood-like energy spheres to attack Kirby.
After Kirby destroyed its white body, Zero's red eye continued to pursue Kirby. However, it could no longer attack except by ramming into Kirby, and was ultimately defeated for good.
Role in MKF[]
In MKF, Zero would have appeared as a member of the Villain Alliance, a group of foes in the employ of Legion while also plotting to take him down and acquire his power for themselves. Following the removal of the Villian Alliance and Legion from the game, Zero was ultimately removed from MKF as well due to lack of development.
