Yamato Man is a samurai-based Robot Master from the 1994 (1993 in Japan) NES game Mega Man 6, where he is one of the bosses fought. His Special Weapon is the Yamato Spear, which he uses to throw a limited amount of armor-piercing spear heads at the player. Yamato Man also carries a spear, which he uses for both defensive and close combat purposes. In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Yamato Man is located in Citadel Courtyard, where he is one of the mini-bosses fought.

- Despite being listed as DWN-048, Dr. Wily had no hand in Yamato Man's creation.
- Yamato Man holds a great deal of respect for Knight Man due to his sense of valor and honor, though its unknown if Knight Man also respects Yamato Man in return.
- Despite using a spear, Yamato Man's favorite hobby is collecting Japanese swords in his spare time.
