Wood Man is a tree-based Robot Master that Mushroom Kingdom Coalition encounters in The Megaverse.
History[]
Wood Man comes from the 1989 (1988 in Japan) NES game Mega Man 2, where he is one of the Robot Masters fought in the game. He has high defense but is vulnerable to fire and cutting-based attacks.
Role In MKF[]
In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Wood Man appears in the level Alloyed Forest as the end-level boss and fights much like he did in the original game. His primary attack pattern is to summon his Leaf Shield, then hurl it at the player while leaves rain from above. He also makes a small hop toward the player while doing this, leaving him open to attack until the falling leaves disappear and he creates a new shield. Defeating Wood Man clears the level for the player.
