The Tyrant is a biologically engineered super-soldier and a recurring optional boss character in the Resident Evil series by Capcom.
History[]
The Tyrant appeared in the first Resident Evil game for the PlayStation 1 in 1996 and has appeared in nearly every game in the series.
Role in MKF[]
In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, The Tyrant shows up as the boss of the Resident Evil-based level Raccoon City. He slowly moves towards the player and uses his claws to slash when they get near him. He also charges towards the player and attempts to slash them as well. After dealing enough damage, Jill Valentine will appear with a rocket launcher to finish him off.
Attacks:
- Slash Attack - He slowly moves towards the player and uses his claws to slash when they get near him. He also charges towards the player and attempts to slash them as well. The player must jump to dodge.
- Ravenous Slash - He charges up the powerful move, Slashing a heavy attack to the player which knocks him/her back. The player must run and jump to dodge.
- Upper Slash Attack - After being stomped on, The Tyrant uses his claws to knock the player upwards. The player must stomp on him quick to avoid getting hit by it.
Strategy:[]
To defeat The Tyrant, The player must stomp on him, which must be done fast before he unleashes his Upper Slash attack, or fire projectiles at him. They should also be on the lookout for his Slash attacks which knocks the player back. When his health gets to 0%, Jill Valentine shows up with a Rocket Launcher to defeat him. The player must time it right to hit him, After the rocket hits him he disintegrates and explodes, clearing the stage.

Trivia:[]
- After Raccoon City was replaced with Zombie Firestorm, The Tyrant was temporarily removed prior to v0.82. However, Raccoon City was restored and improved in the v0.82 update, and The Tyrant has returned as the level's boss, including new background and tilesets improvements, with an added Boss Health Meter and a new Slash sound effect.
