Turbo Turnpike is the 17th level in World 3: The Megaverse. It is the final stretch of road leading up to Dr. Wily's Skull Fortress as the robot army is wrecking havoc in the city.
Layout[]
The first area takes place in the Megatropolis highways, filled with various cars, boxes, and tires. There is also a large bridge at the top. Here, the player just needs to break through hordes of robot enemies.
The second area is also quite simple in structure, but a new obstacle appears in it: tires through which the player can fall, which usually leads to instant death.
The third area is a active highway with vehicles traveling along it. The player needs to carefully move around these cars while avoiding enemies. Falling into the busy road is not an option as it usually leads to losing a life, meaning that the player must stay alert. At the end of the area, the player fight a Sisi Truck.
In the fourth area, a new threat appears in the form of the huge robo-roller Mad Grinder, which begins to chase the player. It is worth noting that player will instantly die if they is overtaken by Mad Grinder. Also, the player will also be hindered by enemies and piles of boxes as they try to outrun the Mad Grinder. As the Mad Grinder closes in on the player, Super Bass flies and slices through it and destroys it as a show of respect for Roll and hopes to get his chance on her brother one day.
After passing the fourth section, the player will fight the two vehicle-theme Robot Masters, Nitro Man and Turbo Man, on the highway. After defeating the duo and saving the city, the level is completed as Roll and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom Coalition will finally travel to the Skull Fortress.

Trivia[]
- Originally, the name of this level was called Mega Highway in older versions of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.
- This level is inspired by the opening level from Mega Man X.
- An early plan for this level was that Bass, who is fought in the level Robot Museum, would aid the player only so that he would fight Mega Man (who was originally planned as a NPC instead of a playable character). The second half of the stage would had featured Bass and Treble merging into Super Bass and providing air support for the player as they travel through a high-speed section evading obstacles and enemies.
