The Megaverse is the third world in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. This is the original world of Mega Man, Proto Man, Roll, Zero, and Vile. It is a world centered around the Mega Man and Mega Man X series games. The World Boss is Dr. Wily.
Plot[]
The Megaverse is a futuristic world where advanced AI robots and humans live together peacefully. That is, until the mad scientist Dr. Albert Wily managed to get and reprogram most of his past Robot Masters, thanks to the help of the fusion effect, and make new allies from other worlds, most noticeably from Dr. Eggman, in order to not only take over Megatropolis but also get his revenge on both his arch nemesis, Mega Man, and his rival, Dr. Thomas Light. Mega Man went off on his own to stop Dr. Wily, but no one knows what happened to him, and Dr. Light lost sight of him. As a result, Roll and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom Coalition must stop Dr. Wily's evil plans and get answers to the disappearance of her brother.
Description[]
The levels in The Megaverse play closer to the original games than most levels, including heavy emphasis on the use of the Mega Man Suit in order to complete levels.
Due to the number of enemies and bosses in this world, an HP system is set up for the player, except when he or she has a Sci-Fi suit. When a character has a second-tier power-up, such as a Fire Flower, Raccoon Leaf, or Hammer Bros. Suit, they gain the ability to take up to four hits, three in a life bar and one after it's drained and gained knockback, unless an Anti-Knockback assist item is equipped, before they lose the power-up. The life bar can be refilled by acquiring power-ups or from energy drops from enemies. Certain characters may not require a second-tier power-up or benefit from the extra health.
Nearly every level in this world has a boss fight at the end of each level, and they mainly consist of various Mega Man Robot Masters from the different games.
To access this World 3, the player is required to complete Dire Dire Docks and defeat Dive Man to reach the secret exit.

Trivia[]
- Prior to v0.8, the map of this world is based on the world map of Mega Man: The Power Battle, a fighting game where the player fought against most Robot Masters from the different series and Wily at the end.
- The shopkeepers of World 3 are Auto and Eddie, two friendly robots from Mega Man series.
- Eddie also appears in some levels' checkpoints to give the player a supply of powerups instead of the usual powerups in blocks you find in different worlds.
- When MKF began, the Megaverse was originally known as "World of 20XX-210X".
- The "LEVEL COMPLETE" and "WORLD COMPLETE" script that appears after defeating a boss uses a font based on the Mega Man series.
- Most of the levels in this world were originally replicas of the original Mega Man stages before being overhauled to become more original.
- According to the old defunct MKF Wiki, early ideas for levels that never materialized include the following:
- Pharaoh's Desert (a level where Pharaoh Man would had served as the boss).
- Pirateman Airship (likely an earlier name for the level Robotic Reef as Pirate Man is fought there).
- Sky Fortress (likely an earlier name for Air Base, which was previously known as Windy Fortress).
- The level Moon Fortress was planned for this world before being settled in World 9: Edge of Beyond.
