The Demon Realm is the fourth world in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. This world features horror-themed levels, primarily based on the Doom, Castlevania, and Ghosts 'n Goblins series, as well as other dark-themed games. The World Boss is Loki.
Description[]
The Demon World is the home of countless monsters and demons of all kinds, but unlike Gehenna, there are also some peaceful demons and living humans, like the heroic Sir Arthur, who protects his kingdom from the forces of evil. This world underwent a fusion effect with many other dark realms, thanks to the Fusion portals. The two demon lords, Astaroth and Loki, are using this opportunity to build a greater hell army, and a member of the Fusionist's Finest, named the Necromancer, came to this world to find a monster called the Behemoth to bring him back to life and control it. Arthur teamed up with the Mushroom Kingdom Coalition to stop their evil plan to take over the realms.
To access this world, the player is required to complete Banshee Boardwalk to unlock the World 4 secret exit.

Laments of the Damned[]
This is where common and weaker demons of this realm reside, at constant war after the arrival of their new king, Loki.

Shores of Hell[]
This portion of the realm is home to DOOM demons, one stage above the demonic food chain. They are more resistant to normal attacks and require the usage of guns to dispatch them.

Frigid Inferno[]
A shivering hellish part of the Demon Realm, where it's both cold and hot at the same time. A strange corpse was brought here at the behest of Necromancer, who wishes to revive the corpse.

Home of high-class demons who torment weaker ones to their amusement. There are various ruined cities and settlements as well as traps where demons consume each other relentlessly.

Treacherous Dominion[]
The highest part of The Demon Realm, where Loki leads the realm with his iron fists. He watches as demons destroy each other and consume their souls to become stronger. To climb to his castle, you must overcome the turmoil itself.

- Prior to v0.8, the map of this world is based on DOOM's third and final episode: Inferno!.
- The shopkeeper of this world is the Merchant from Resident Evil 4.
- The Merchant briefly swapped places with Trio the Pago Owner, who is the shopkeeper of World 5: Gehenna.
- The music heard during the world map is "Into Sandy's City" from the 1994 game DOOM 2.
- The overworld Red Arremers and Imps lead to a Hammer Bros-like battle against various Ghosts n' Goblins or DOOM enemies prior to v0.8.
- The "LEVEL COMPLETE" and "WORLD COMPLETE" script uses a font from the DOOM games.
- The old defunct MKF Wiki revealed that the levels Dracula Castle and Fire Temple were planned to be located to this world before being settled in World 6: Adventurer's Domain.
- According to the old wiki, early ideas for levels that never materialized include the following:
