Serengeti Safari is the 7th level in Alternate Earth.
Completing this level will unlock Waluigi as a playable character.
Layout[]
On this safari adventure in the peaceful jungle of Africa, the player will meet various wild animals. While the elephants and hippos will act peacefully, take care of huge mosquitoes, stone-throwing monkeys, exploding beetles, angry porcupines and many more! At various points of the level, the player will also have to deal with raging rhinos called Balruims, which will drop a key after being defeated.
The second main area has the player climbing on the waterfall, where they have to get from platform to platform while dealing with the animals in the way. Once the player reaches the top of the waterfall, they have to deal with the rhino one last time. Afterwards, the flagpole awaits and the level is clear as the next destination is the desert of Sahara, Sahara Scramble.

Allies[]
- Elephants - Can be used as platforms.
- Hippos - Lets the player ride on their backs as the mud they are swimming on can harm the player if he or she falls into it.
- POWs - Rescue them and they will reward the player with a powerup or another useful item.
Trivia[]
- The original name of this level was "African Safari".
- The background for this level comes from the 1995 32X game Kolibri.
- The Elephant sprites come from the Metal Slug games.
- The Porcupine enemies from The Lion King were originally in this level but were replaced with Porcupos.
- This was originally the 9th level in World 2 but switched places with Sahara Scramble.
- Originally, the second area of this level featured an auto-scrolling section but was changed after the level was revamped.
