Scrap Junkyard is the 2nd secret level in The Megaverse. This level is based on Dust Man's stage in Mega Man 4. This level can only be accessible after clearing the Black Switch Palace.
Layout[]
This level takes place in a junkyard, where the Robot Master, Dust Man, who specializes in sanitation, is sent by Dr. Wily to destroy and remodel the site to look more like an evil operation base. The player will have to stop Needle Man from completing Dr. Wily's plans.
The first section is outside the junkyard, as the player must dodge the various enemies that populate the area. The second section has the player go inside the junkyard building. In addition to dealing with more enemies, the player must deal with various obstacles, such as Dust Blocks that fall down and can crush the player and Appearing Blocks that disappear and reappear in a pattern.
The third section is similar to the previous section but also introduces bodies of lava that instantly kill the player if touched. The fourth section features a ton of Dust Blocks falling one by one, and the player must time their jumps to avoid getting crushed. At the end, a Trampoline drops down and allows the player to reach the top of the area that leads to the boss room.
The boss fight against Dust Man is up next, and after his defeat, the operation is over and the city is safe once again, completing the level for the player.
