Scandinavian Campaign is the 11th level that takes place in Alternate Earth and is based on the region of Scandinavia in northern Europe.
Layout[]
It is now wintertime, and the Rebel Army has shown strong activity in this area. The Coalition is now heading towards Russia and will have to fight hoards of hostile military forces on their way to help the locals out of their predicament. The Coalition is also greeted by members of the Peregrine Falcon Squad throughout their journey.
The player begins nearby a Scandinavian city, which is overrun by countless Rebel Soldiers and their allies while rescuing the POWs.
In the second area, the player will have to cross a frozen sea. The water will be cold enough to inflict damage, meaning that the player should avoid any contact. Meanwhile, the Rebel Army has sent their military vehicles to attack the player.
After further progress, the player will reach an auto-scrolling section, and they will be forced to "ride the rocket" shot by the M-15A Bradley to overcome bottomless pits and reach a plane hangar in Finland. The level now comes to its climax with a high-speed, auto-scrolling, challenging section where the player will have to rush through the snowy area while avoiding contact with the Muncher plants. There are also Remington Shotguns located within the area, as the player has to deal with enemy planes firing at them as well.
At the end, the player will arrive at the hangar, fighting a few more Rebel Soldiers. Not too long after, the level has been completed as the player gets inside the plane, preparing to travel to their next destination, Eastern Asia.

Trivia[]
- The background in the city area is a heavily edited version of one of the background layers found in the Prototype District in the 2020 SMBX episode 21KX Subzero Heroes.
- The tileset in the last part of the level comes from Ducktales.
- The hangar at the end of Scandanavian Campaign is from Charlie Nash's stage in Street Fighter Alpha 3, while the aircraft at the end of the level originates from Carrier Air Wing.
- Abobo, Jick, Sumo Bros, Bikers and the Nop-03 Sarubia were originally absent from this level.
- This level was originally longer and had two additional sections in the beginning, plus a Checkpoint right before the player enters the city section to fight the Rebel Soldiers and their allies. The level now begins right before the city section and the two scrapped sections were retooled into a new level: Antenora. The original first room was retooled in another level: Alloyed Forest.
- The following enemies were originally found in this level but were either removed or replaced with other enemies: Flurry, Spike, Koopa Paratroopa, Snowman, Topi, Seal, Freezie, Hammer Bros, Birdo, Cheep Cheep, Nipper Plant, Urchin, Shark, Porcupuffer, Auto-Snifits, and Gordea. There were also red Ninjis but they were also removed.
- The frozen sea area, where the player has to deal with many Rebel Army artillery vehicles, would be reused in a Battle Level called Antarctic Battlefield.
- The following changes were made to the level in the v0.88 update of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion:
- The player is greeted by members of the Peregrine Falcon Squad.
- The auto-scrolling section is split into two parts and with a checkpoint between them.
