Raccoon Leaf

The Raccoon Leaf, also known as the Super Leaf, is a second-tier powerup that allows a character to fly like in Super Mario Bros. 3, usually by building up speed and repeatedly pressing the jump button while in the air. The Raccoon Leaf can also give better flight abilities to those who can already fly. Each character will have some variant of the Raccoon Leaf. Characters with a preset speed must still hold the run button in order to achieve flight when using this powerup.

• Mario gains a raccoon tail and ears and becomes Raccoon Mario. He can fly like he did in Super Mario Bros. 3 and uses his tail to attack nearby enemies. His basic method of achieving flight - running until a power meter is built up - is the basis for most characters' flight mechanics.
• Luigi gains a helmet and propeller suit, turning into Propeller Luigi from New Super Mario Bros. Wii. He can fly through the air while spinning like a propeller, Also, he can either slowly descend to the ground or quickly spin downward like a drill.
• Wario will gain a Jet Hat. He can fly at any time, but can only move horizontally and are limited by a meter that recharges quickly when they are on the ground.
• Waluigi will gain a Jet Hat, which works exactly the same as Wario's.
• Sonic will gain Rocket Shoes. They come from Sonic Triple Trouble and allow him to fly like Mario does. This will disable his Insta-Shield ability.
• Tails will become Raccoon Tails. Tails will gain better flight abilities, enabling him to fly further and longer.
• Link will gain the Roc Cape which gives him a mid-air jump and allows him to slow his fall. Stacks with his other items.
• Arthur gains Angelic Armor, which allows him a third (but shorter) jump, as well as the ability to turn into Statue Arthur (like a Tanooki Suit).
• Roll will gain the Roll.EXE Suit, which gives her the ability of a a double jump and is given a shield that can reflect most enemy projectiles. Roll.EXE's charge shot fires two arrows, one of which goes at a higher angle.
• Samus gains access to her morph ball bombs. If she already has bombs, it will become a missile tank instead.
• Legacy Link will become a Deku Scrub like in Majora's Mask. Deku Link is exactly like Raccoon Mario except that he uses the Master Sword instead of a tail attack and can spit rocks.
• Gameboy Mario will gain rabbit ears and becomes Bunny Gameboy Mario, which functions like the powerup did in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins as he can hover in mid-air and slowly descend to the ground.
