Prehistorik Isle is the 11th level in Avenue of Memories and is based on various, prehistoric-themed game series, such as Prehistorik and Bonk.
Layout[]
This level takes place at daytime near the mountains in prehistoric times, where dinosaurs ruled the land and cave people thrived to survive the hostile environment.
The first two areas are hugely non-linear as the player explores the outside of the mountain while dealing with the prehistoric-themed enemies, such as Rexes, Terrordons, Al E. Gators and Ogres. There are also a few small small caves throughout the level, where the player can find hidden coins, rupees and power-ups.
There are a few gimmicks here, such as small platforms that appear, similar to the ones in Journey to Funkotron, where upon discovery with green "!Extras!" popping out of the small platforms and friendly plants called Springers that could be used as a spring to get to higher places.
The last area takes inside the cave of the mountain, which is populated by Teddius Bearus and Octarium Leggus that swing around in their webs. Once the player makes it to the exit of the cave and back near the top of the mountain, they will have to evade the Dolphin Sharks first before getting the flagpole and clearing the level.

Trivia[]
- This level was originally located in World 2: Alternate Earth before being relocated to World 8.
- When this level was first introduced, it replaced Raccoon City on the World 2 map. As a result, Raccoon City was relocated to World 4: The Demon Realm and later replaced by the level Zombie Firestorm although Raccoon City has been since reinstated as a level. In the v0.8 update, Prehistorik Isle was then relocated from the North American section of World 2 to the Australian section of World 2.
- The tiles, background and music come from the first level in Prehistoric 2.
- This level is only accessible after clearing the Red Switch Palace.
- The following enemies were removed after the level was revamped: Lava Geysers, Blarggs from Super Mario World, Spiders from Adventure's Island, and Kaichos from Alex Kidd.
- This level originally featured a section where you had to escape an erupting volcano, but it has since been removed when this level was revamped.
- This level's music used to be "Bone Yard/Dino Might!/Eggipus Rex" from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped before the song was eventually removed and the level was revamped.
