Power Tower is the 10th level in The Megaverse and is based on Elec Man's stage from the first Mega Man game.
Layout[]
Power Tower is a power plant industrial facility that serves as the generation of electric power in Megatropolis. Dr. Wily sent his two Robot Masters, the expert of lightning known as Elec Man and the high-voltage plug known as Spark Man, to power out the facility to weaken the city defense system for their invasion plan. The player must stop them from succeeding in their devious plan.
The first area takes place at the base, as the player will learn about some of the gimmicks of this level, such as the hazardous electrical wall that shoots out lightning and the infamous reappearing and disappearing platforms that the player must learn their pattern to time their jumps correctly or risk falling down. There are also enemies to deal with as well, mainly from the Mega Man series, but several Mario enemies, such as Sparks and Goombas, are also present to hinder the player's progress.
The second area takes place outside the power plant as a thunderstorm is about to begin. The player needs to cross through the crossing electrical wires taken from the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers NES game while dealing with Pirparees and other robotic enemies.
The third area takes place on the left side of the central tower. Here, the player will have to climb to the top of the tower while dealing with more enemies and hazards that stand in the way. The player will also be pursued by Spark Man, who attacks with Spark Shocks while riding on a propeller cloud. The player can defeat Spark Man by using their power-ups or blocks nearby. At the end of the area, the player will have to defeat a Bikky that is guarding the entrance to the central tower. Inside the control center is a fight against Elec Man and after his defeat, the power facility is saved and the level has been cleared. The thunderstorm is gone now as it becomes bright and cloudy as the player is now on top of the sky tower and sees a sky fortress.
