Pirate Man is a water-based Robot Master from the Mega Man series. He originated from the 1997 (1996 in Japan) game Mega Man 8. Pirate Man's main weapon is Remote Mine, a remote controlled bomb that he usually fires three times in a row. He can also attack by encasing himself in a giant bubble and bouncing around the room if the water level is high enough, in addition to using his arm to refill the room when the water level gets too low to use his bubble attack.
In MKF, Pirate Man is one of the two bosses in the level Robotic Reef, the other being Aqua Man. Unlike earlier World 3 levels that feature two bosses in the same level, Pirate Man and Aqua Man are fought as a tag team rather than separately in different parts of the level.
