Mouser is a recurring mini-boss in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.
History[]
Mouser is a sunglasses-wearing mouse that worked for the vegetable-hating Wart in Super Mario Bros. 2. He is the boss of the first world, as well as the third world. His attack is throwing bombs at the player. To hurt him, hurl his bombs back at him. Three explosions, and he's down. Mouser is found in World 1 and World 3 in SMB2, though in the Super Mario Advance version, he is fought in World 1 and World 6 (taking one of Tryclyde's spots) as a large, robotic version of Birdo, known as Robirdo, took over as the boss of World 3.
In Doki Doki Panic, the game SMB2 was repackaged from outside Japan, Mouser is actually fought three times as an albino version is the boss of World 5. However, Nintendo of America deemed this Mouser too difficult for Western players to beat him and, as a result, he was replaced with Clawgrip when SMB2 was released in North America and overseas in Europe.
Role In MKF[]
In MKF, Mouser appears for the first time in World 1-3, The Transitway, although he is an optional boss as defeating him leads to a secret path on the map in World 1. In battle, Mouser uses the same attacks as he did in Super Mario Bros. 2, only this time he needs five hits to be killed. He is also vulnerable to projectile attacks. After the fourth hit or when experiencing low health, Mouser begins to throw Bob-ombs, aside from his regular attacks. The player can throw the Bob-ombs at him too. After five hits, Mouse falls into the water where he perishes.
In Fortress of Traps, Mouser returns as a boss but is now a ghost and is assisted by Death. Instead of the usual bombs and Bob-Ombs, this time Mouser throws skulls at the player, which spawn into the skeletons from Black Tiger. When Mouser is low on health, Death will sometimes swoop down to attack the player.

Trivia[]
- Mouser once appeared as a mini-boss in Industrial Nightmare but was removed after the level was revamped. He also appeared in Spiral Tower as a mini-boss but was removed as well.
- Mouser's appearance in Fortress of Traps is a reference to the third fight against him in Doki Doki Panic, where he has a albino-like appearance.
- Mouser is seen fused in The Fusionist's Lab with the Angry Sun, creating an Angry Mousun that moves around like an Angry Sun and throws bombs like Mouser.
