Mirror Caverns is the 8th level of The Megaverse and is based on Gemini Man's stage from Mega Man 3.
Layout[]
Mirror Caverns take place in a crystallized, icy cave at night. This seems to be the home of the robotic penguins and the holographic Robot Master Gemini Man.
The first area takes place outside at night as the player will do some platforming while fighting off several enemies, such as the Nitrons that drop a flame from over and the penguin-like Bomber Pepes that shoots bomb eggs at the player. At the end of the area, the player will enter the cave.
The second area takes place inside the cave, which is populated by many Pole eggs that the player must shoot through in order to get past. After that, the player must also fight the giant robot penguin Penpen Maker as it is guarding the gate and unleashing an endless supply of Penpens to attack the player. At the end, the players will jump into a waterfall.
The third area takes place underwater, as the player will have to destroy the Pole eggs once again while dealing with the Hammer Joes and even some of Dr. Eggman's Badniks to get past.
The fourth area is a platform area, as the player will need to be careful falling into the river pit as they have to deal with more robotic enemies from both above and below the river.
The last area before the boss fight has the player battle a Bikky guarding the gate. There are crystallized stones that the player can use in case they don't have a power-up to defeat the Bikky.
The boss fight is against Gemini Man and after his defeat, the level is cleared as the players will exit the cave and appear in the dam.

Trivia[]
- This level is largely a recreation of Gemini Man's stage in the 1990 NES game Mega Man 3
- This level was once merged with Fort Bubble Man in earlier versions of MKF but was split again into its own level, likely due to the length of the merged level being too long. Splash Woman was also featured as a mini-boss during this level but was removed from the level due to the fish she summons to antagonize the player being too difficult to dodge.
- The following Mega Man enemies were removed after this level was revamped in the v0.8 update: Metall DX, Picket Man, Potton. In the v0.88 update, Flurries and Bikky were removed.
- The Sonic enemies were previously absent from this level.
