Miracle Valley is the 1st secret level of Isle of Genesis. It is based on the levels set in Mt. Eternal, also known as Mountain Mountains, from the 1986 Master System game Alex Kidd in Miracle Valley.

Layout[]

Miracle Valley takes place in an 8-bit, peaceful grass land with mountains and a lake to view at it, This is where the main character Alex Kid spent seven years training to master the art of Shellcore, an ancient art that makes strong ones enough to break rocks into pieces as he goes on a quest to save the City of Radaxian from the evil alien leader Janken the Great.

The first area takes place on top of the mountain as the player climbs down the steps while breaking rocks, stones and blocks to get coins and rupees. Along the way, the player must also deal with enemies nearby, such as the Kaichos flying by. At the end of the area, the player safely makes it to the lower ground and enters the pipe in the lake.

The second area is a bit of a fusion consisting of both the Mt. Eternal lake area and the underwater levels in Super Mario Bros. Here, the player swims in the lake while dealing with Bloopers, Fishmen and Killer Fish. At the end of the area, enter the pipe to the surface area.

The last area takes place in the grass land as there are blue and red crystal balls around this area. The blue ones are breakable and red ones are not but can be used as a platform to cross over the lava. Be careful of the vines that come out the lava. At the end of the area is the flagpole and the player clears the level.

Trivia[]

The music heard in this level is Alex Kidd from Sega Games Music Volume 1.
The player enters the cave shop after getting the flagpole at the end of the level.
This level is the oldest one in World 7 since the Master System was made before the Sega Genesis and the Sonic series was made in the 90s.
- Alex Kid was originally the company mascot before being replaced by Sonic the Hedgehog in 1991 thanks to the Sega Genesis console bundle that came with Sonic 1, in addition to Sonic's cool and attitude appeal to the audience that better competed with Nintendo and Mario at that time.
