Mecha Sonic is one of the robotic doppelgangers of Sonic created by Dr. Eggman alongside other robotic versions of the blue hedgehog, such as Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic.
History:[]
Mecha Sonic's first appearance in the Sonic series is the 1994 Sega Genesis game Sonic & Knuckles and is a successor to Silver Sonic, who first appeared in 1992's Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Role in MKF[]
In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Mecha Sonic appears as a mini-boss in Robotnikland, the final level in World 7: Isle of Genesis.
He has 3 attack patterns, but if he has reached 50% health remaining, his attacks pattern now introduced and harder.
Strategy:[]
The player has to stomp or hit (when playing as Sonic or Tails) on Mecha Sonic while dodging his attack patterns.
Trivia[]
- In City Escape, Mecha Sonic and Silver Sonic can briefly be seen on the E.G.G. Truck operated by Metal Sonic in the cutscenes.
- In the Sonic series, Mecha Sonic is properly known as Mecha Sonic Mark II, with Silver Sonic being the original Mecha Sonic.
- Unlike its "brothers" Metal and Silver, Mecha Sonic is the only one of the trio to reform thanks to finding a family with his fellow Scrapniks. which makes his appearance here as Ivo's last line of defense quite ironic.
