Lu Bu was a military warlord from the Dynasty Warrior series and appeared as one of the bosses found in World 2: Alternate Earth. However, he was replaced with The Warlock in the v0.9 update of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.
History[]
Lü Bu (呂布, style name Fengxian, died 199CE) was a military general and warlord who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of Imperial China. He is a fixture in the video game series Dynasty Warriors (Japanese name 真・三國無双, shin sangokumusou, "true three kingdoms unrivaled"), which is based on the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history, from 220 CE to 280 CE. The sprite used in MKF comes from the game Dynasty Warriors Advance.
Role In MKF[]
In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Lu Bu appeared as the boss in the level Great Wall Showdown.
Strategy:[]
In battle, Lu Bu usually attacks with a series of melee attacks. Suddenly, he begins to stop for a short time and becomes vulnerable to the player's stomping attack (Stomp Boots are provided for characters who normally can't stop enemies prior to battle). This moment is the only time when Lu Bu can possibly be attacked; in any other moment, a jump attack will be counterattacked, and projectiles will be deflected. It is noteworthy that after Lu Bu has half of his HP left, during the attacks, he also launches a single fireball and arranges explosions to the left and right of him.
After his defeat, Lu Bu begins to fall down the building for a few seconds and then explodes.
For the speedrun boss strategy, If Roll has a Sci-Fi Suit, the player can defeat Lu Bu faster with a three charged shots.
