Loki is the fourth World Boss to appear in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. The Mushroom Kingdom Coalition will face Loki in The Demon Realm.
History[]
Loki, also known as Lucifer, first appeared in Ghouls 'n Ghosts, where he terrorized the land, captured the souls of its people and kidnapped Arthur's love, Princess Prin Prin. Using his Magic Power, Arthur was able to destroy Loki, free the souls and bring the princess back to life.
In MKF[]
Loki appears as a boss in last level of The Demon Realm, Heart of Darkness.
He has only one "normal" attack: he shoots 5 lasers from his hands towards the player. However when Loki has a little more than 3/4 HP and a little more than 1/4 HP, he destroys the floor on the left and right side of the arena, respectively. Also, in the arena appears Lost Souls, in order to prevent the player, and Grubs, which can be thrown at Loki.
Trivia[]
- Loki was originally named Lucifer in arcades, but when the game was ported to the Sega Genesis his name was changed into the more "Christian friendly" Loki for the English version, because apparently fighting AGAINST the Devil is not "Christian-friendly".
