Lava Powerhouse Zone was the 17th level in World 7, Isle of Genesis. It is based on the level with the same name from Sonic Spinball.

As of the v0.9 update, this level was removed from Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and replaced with a new level, Tetra Machine.

Layout[]

Taking place in Robotnik's personal volcano, the Veg-O-Fortress, Lava Powerhouse is a geothermal energy plant that fuels the volcano core. Robotnik, just for the fun of it, also turned this place into a deadly pinball game as he captured the Chaos Emeralds. Tails, Sonic, and their other friends meet two kangaroo prisoners named Hip and Hop along the way to help them receive the chaos emeralds right under Robotnik's nose.

In order to pass this pinball-based level in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, the player must collect the chaos emeralds scattered around the level to open the gate that represents the chaos emeralds colors. The level itself is two large sections filled with various platform elements, such as Hip and Hop jumping on each side of a bellow machine for the players to higher ground. Another gimmick found throughout the level are flippers but be careful of the bumpers, Rotodiscs and the little steam pipes that the player bounce on left and right.
