King Egger's Tower is the 2nd secret level in Avenue of Memories and is based on the Adventures of Lolo series created by HAL Laboratory, the same company that created the Kirby series. It is the second of two levels in which Lololo and Lalala play a major role in.

Layout[]

After the events of Castle Lolo, Lololo and Lalala explain to the player that they were under mind control by the spell and also gives thanks for freeing them. They reveal the true mastermind behind this, who happens to be King Egger, a long-time enemy of the duo who is planning to take over their kingdom once again. To stop his evil plan, Lololo and Lalala team up with the Mushroom Kingdom Coalition to defend their kingdom.

This level is puzzle-based consisting of six rooms. The player must collect a specific number of Heart Framers in order to unlock a chest with a key inside in order advance to the next room. Lololol and Lalala have the special ability of turning their enemies into eggs. These eggs are can be used to stack up a platform to reach higher areas, block the Medusa statue attacks and can flow in lava. The player will need to be careful after they open the chest as it will activate the Skulls, which will chase the player and can only be defeated by Lololo and Lalala's magic.

After passing through all the rooms, the player and their allies enter the throne room as they will fight King Egger. In battle, King Egger uses homing projectiles against the player while keeping himself at the top of screen. the only way to damage him is for Lololo and Lalala is turn the enemies that periodically enter fight into eggs and throw them at King Egger. After enough damage, King Egger is defeated and the Kingdom of Lololo and Lalala, as well as Dream Land, is saved and the player clears the level.
