Hydropower Facility is the 9th level in The Megaverse and is based on Bubble Man's stage from Mega Man 2.
Layout[]
This level takes in a facility dam, a barrier constructed to hold back water and raise its level, forming a reservoir used to generate electricity or as a water supply, and an underwater station for scientists to do research on robotic aquatic animals. The aquatic Robot Master Bubble Man protects this place from any threats and pollution.
The first area takes place outside behind the dam as the player must navigate and explore the area while dealing with the aquatica robotic enemies, such as Crabbots and Croakers. At the end of the area, the player head down to the base.
The second area takes place in the base, where the player has to be careful around the electricity water as it hurts him or her upon contact, and the only way to get past the water is to get the invincibility star.
The third area is set underwater with a laboratory station in the background. The player must evade giant, robotic redfish that shoot robotic shrimp from their mouths and travel through the bed of spikes while dealing with additional enemies, such as robotic jellyfish and Gordos.
The level concludes with a fight against Bubble Man and after his defeat, the level is cleared and the player can go to the Windbolt Altitude section on the map.

Trivia[]
- This level was largely a recreation of Bubble Man's stage in the 1989 (1988 in Japan) NES game Mega Man 2 before being revamped to appear more original.
- Peterchies and Metools were originally absent from this level as were all the non-Mega Man enemies.
- This level was once merged with Mirror Caverns in earlier versions of MKF but was split again into its own level, likely due to the length of the merged level being too long.
- Splash Woman was also featured as a mini-boss in the merged level but was removed from the level due to the fish she summons to antagonize the player being too difficult to dodge with some characters.
- The level used to be known as Fort Bubble Man.
