General Donald Morden is the World Boss of World 2, Alternate Earth.
History[]
The main antagonist of the Metal Slug series, General Morden has sought world domination since the first game. His Rebellion Army usually is the main opposition of the player, save only for Metal Slug 5, where he is absent, and 6, where he aids the player at the end of the game. However, he quickly returns to his old ways in the seventh game. During this time, he has only served as the final boss twice.
General Morden is shown to be a bumbling madman, suffering horrible fates in each of his roles from being crushed by helicopters to hung out of flying saucers. Despite this, he still inspires fear in his enemies, being dubbed "the Antichrist" by the Regular Army High Command and thought to be behind the Amadeus Terror Syndicate of the fourth game.
Role In MKF[]
In MKF, General Morden appears as a boss in the last level of Alternate Earth, Bridge to Morden. He has two battle phases, but there is also an autoscroll section before the battle, in which General Morden interferes with the player by launching missiles at him/her.
First Phase[]

After a short dialogue, the first phase begins. In it, General Morden is in a helicopter (known as the Hi-Do), and weapons are provided to the player by NPCs from Metal Slug, coming from outside the screen.
Attacks:
- Machine gun fire at the ground.
- Massive release of small homing missiles from the helicopter body.
- Carpet bombing.
- General Morden fires several missiles at the player.
Second Phase[]

After the defeat, General Morden falls from a helicopter, but is picked up by the Hairbuster Ribert. The player in turn falls on the 'Sea Satan' Amadeus Syndicate submarine. The battle continues.
Attacks:
- General Morden fires several homing missiles at the player.
- Launch multiple horizontally flying missiles that you can stand on.
- Massive bombardment with bouncing bombs.
Trivia[]
- General Morden's dialogue is slightly different when playing as Roll or Samus as he addresses them each as "Little Lady" instead of "Boy" as they are the only female playable characters. Prior to the v0.8 update, Morden referred to Roll as "Boy" much as he does with the male playable characters and Samus was not yet a playable character in older versions of MKF.
