Trivia[]
- The level is a tribute to the original plans for World 6, which was going to be SHMUPs domain, since this level is based on a SHMUP. The game represented by the stage is Gemini Wing, which has level and enemy designs that fit in the fantasy theme.
- The background of the first Shmup section was originally from the 1993 arcade game Eco Fighters. After the v0.8 update, the two frontmost cloud layers have been replaced with new assets from Ardy Lightfoot and Densetsu no Stafy 2.
- In the v0.8 update of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, the following enemies were removed from this level after its revamp: Fighter Flies, Antottos, Bees, Helmet Hornets, Giant Profasus, and Tektites. Most of them are seen in the level Bugmuck Swamp instead.
- Paratroopas and Aru Lowders were previously absent in this level.
