Fire Temple was the 2nd fortress level in World 6: Adventurer's Domain. It is based on the fortress of the same name from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The level was removed from Mushroom Kingdom Fusion in the v0.91 update. While no new level replaced it like with the other two removed Zelda-themed levels (Forest Temple and Water Temple), the existing level Concealed Chasm took its place on the map.
Layout[]
The Fire Temple has been closed until further notice, forcing the player to figure out another way to enter the temple, which consists of using a Bomb to blow up a rock-like block and climbing down a ladder to enter. Once inside, the player must deal with various Zelda enemies, additional fiery enemies (including those from other series) and blowing up block paths with more bombs.
After the player enters a checkpoint area, next up is an area with two doors that contain keys required to collect in order to advance to the next area. More obstacles stand in the way, such as Blade Traps and Dodongos that can only be defeated by feeding them bombs.
In the third major area, the player must quickly climb up the fences and reach higher platforms as lava begins to ascend from below.
The boss of this level is the Flare Dancer and defeating him clears the level for the player.
