Fever Las Vegas is the 3rd level of Alternate Earth and is based on the Double Dragon series, the Casino Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and the real life city of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Layout[]
The Mushroom Kingdom Coalition now find themselves in the city affectionately nicknamed Sin City, which is full of life with bright, colorful buildings, many casinos, neon light signs, and billboards. The Shadow Warriors, led by Willy, have taken control of one of the casinos in order to steal as much money as they want, thanks to the help of their new allies. The heroes must stop this criminal gang and save the people within the casino.
The first two areas are very straightforward, as the player will battle through the many enemies working with the Shadow Warriors, such as the former boxer Jick and French boxer Glass Joe. The first area takes place outside of the casino, while the second area takes place inside of it. Many of the enemies throughout the level either only attack up-close or throw one projectile at a time as a homage to the "Beat 'Em Up" genre of gaming.
The last area takes place at the rooftop of the casino, where the player will battle Willy, who attacks the player with his large machine gun, either as a melee weapon or shooting a large amount of bullets with it. After defeating Willy and serving some justice to his gang, the player's next trip on the World 2 map is to South America.

Trivia[]
- The boss fight against Willy was not present in earlier version of MKF, as there was a level-ending flagpole instead.
- In older versions of MKF, the interior of the casino area included posters, many of which reference the freeware 2d fighting game M.U.G.E.N., such as the fighter "Omega Tiger Woods". However, direct references to M.U.G.E.N. were removed after the level's revamp in the v0.875 update, with the only remaining reference being a poster in memory of the late designer Reuben Kee.
- The Goombas are dressed as famous American singer Elvis Pressley as Las Vegas is known for hosting Elvis impersonators. The Goombas even dressed up as Elvis in one level in the infamous 1994 Phillips CD-i game Hotel Mario, often regarded as one of the worst Mario games ever made and its cutscenes being the source of many "YouTube Poops".
- The following enemies were featured in this level in earlier versions of MKF before being removed and replaced with other enemies: Flurry, Panser, Shy Guy, Volcano Lotus, Nokobon, Spiny, and Contra enemies Ledder and Greeder.
- After the v0.785 update, the following enemies were removed: Chargin' Chucks, Abobo from Double Dragon, and the Hawks from Ninja Gaiden.
- Birdo was originally a mini-boss who guarded a key the player need to advance to the boss room area but was removed after the level was revamped in the v0.875 version.
- Playing Cards and Crawls were previously absent in older versions of the level.
- The background graphics in the first area come from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Previously, they used graphics from the the 1992 SNES game Super Double Dragon. Originally, the level used real-life photo images as the background. The interior decorations come from Super Caesar's Palace.
- The first section's background was an original asset made by Electro-kun.
- In the v0.9 update, Totsumen from Wario Land 4 and Fighters from Ninja Gaiden were removed from the level while Fireballs and Gang Members were previously absent.
