Elemental Tower was the World Boss level in Avenue of Memories before its removal. The level featured different chambers themed after the six Sage Symbols in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Layout[]

The level started off outside the tower, a leisure Snake Block ride to the tower, with a simple chamber with Zelda enemies. But as of this, later 6 chambers are themed after the 6 elemental temples in Ocarina of Time: Fire - Spirit - Light - Forest - Water - Shadow in respective order. Each chamber featured specific gimmicks and setups themed after its specific element: Such as lava and climbable fences in fire chamber, icicles in water chamber and an entire Lens of Truth sequence in shadow chamber.

After successfully passing the 6 chambers, only a final escalation to the final area remained, with what seemed that Ganondorf's faces carved on top of the gates. But at the end, the challenger the player saw was quite shocking...

In the v0.8 update of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, the level became inaccessible and was eventually scrapped and replaced altogether in the v0.81 version with Subspace Adventure, in addition to the new World Boss, Master Hand.

Trivia[]

This level was based off Ganon's Tower, one of the dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The level's setup and this level correspond to each other: Both levels featuring the elemental chambers is a solid example of this.
Despite this level being Zelda-themed, the World Boss was not Ganondorf or even Jaquio. The reason behind them being scrapped was not fully explained, although they might have existed as a placeholder for another level that later hosted a Boss (and World Boss)
Before the fight with Jaquio began, Ryu Hayabusa, the main protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden series, made a cameo appearance as a NPC. At the time, Ryu was originally planned as a playable character but was temporarily removed in the v0.65 update due to being too buggy and unfinished. However, Ryu returned as a playable character again in the v0.83 update.
