The Draconian is a half-man, half-dragon samurai that attacks by swinging two falchion blades. They are also capable of breathing fire at the player. They will attempt to corner the player if her or she doesn't make any effort to leap over them and attack from the other side. The Draconian comes from the 1987 arcade game Black Tiger (or Black Dragon in Japan) that was developed by Capcom. In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, the Draconian appears as a boss in the Black Tiger-based level Crimson Dominion.

- Draconian was originally a mini-boss in the now-removed level Dragon's Dominion, which featured the Black Dragon as the end-level boss. The Black Dragon was moved to Death Volcano as that level's boss while Draconian became the end-level boss of Crimson Dominion.
