Crystal Caverns

Crystal Caverns is a Battle Level located in World 1: The Mushroom Kingdom in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. The patrolling enemy is the Ptooie and is located in the No Man's Land section of the World 1 map. This battle takes place in an underground cave and the player must take out various Mario baddies like Buzzy Beetles, Spinies, Swoopers, and the aforementioned Ptooies.

Trivia[]

The original name of the battle level was Piranha Plant Pipelines and had a much different layout.
In earlier versions of MKF, this battle took place outside the pipes and the player had to deal with Piranha Plants and other plant-based enemies such as Nipper Plants, Venus Fire Traps, Jumping Piranha Plants, and Ptooies. Munchers also populated the area but serve more as obstacles as they cannot be defeated by normal means. Auto-Snifits were also present here and were mainly used as weapons just in case the player was not already equipped with a projectile-based powerup as the plant enemies could not be jumped on.
- However, the original layout of this battle level was later refurbished in areas of a revamped Pipe Labyrinth starting in the v0.85 version of MKF.
