Trivia[]
- The cruise ship and the associated background come from the DS game Wario: Master of Disguise. The passenger NPCs are sprites from the Metal Slug games.
- In previous versions of MKF, the player could enter the cruise and talk to the passengers. Afterwards, there was a cutscene of Ganondorf watching on as the cruise sails away. Since the v0.75 Update, the level ended after the player hopped on board the cruise after talking to the female passenger as the interior area of the cruise and the Ganondorf cutscene have been removed.
- Initially, the section inside the ship was supposed to contain a clash with the Necromancer, who was also supposed to appear in the cutscene.
- The following enemies were absent in earlier versions of the level: Yadoras, Sharks, Volcano Lotuses, Helmuts, Rip Van Fishes, and Koopa Troopas.
- At the end of cruise section, the player was planned to face off against the White Shark, a boss from the long-cancelled sister project Super Mario Fusion: Revival. However, this idea was later abandoned as the level was scrapped altogether.
