Mini-Bosses

A Mini-Boss is a more powerful enemy who must be defeated to continue in the level. Mini-Bosses differ from regular boss in that many don't have energy meters to represent their remaining life, nor does the stage end upon their defeat. Often, a Mini-Boss will drop something upon their defeat that allows the player to progress in the stage, usually a Key. Otherwise, the player can continue moving through the stage or will be relocated automatically.
