Bomber Arena is the 13th level in World 8: Avenue of Memories. It is based on the Bomberman series and features the white Bomberman as a helper character.
Layout[]
Planet Bomber is the home planet of the Bomberman race. This level takes place in a maze-like underground cave where White Bomberman goes through, using his bombs to blow up the wall bricks and his enemies, as he is on a mission to rescue his best friend, the black Bomberman, and the players will team up with him to get through this place.
The white Bomberman can be picked up like a weapon by planting Bomberman-style bombs by pressing the Fire button. These bombs explode in a "plus" shape, and are the only thing capable of destroying the many large brick walls placed all over the level. Various items and powerups can be found hidden underneath many of these walls, but be careful, as destroying a brick wall may release enemies that are trapped on the other side of them. Also, be careful when planting bombs, as their explosions can not only destroy brick walls and enemies, but they can hurt the player as well. Bombs can also be detonated by the explosions from other bombs, allowing you to set up complex chains of explosions to take out tricky enemies.
The first and second rooms of the level are based on the classic Bomberman games. It is a labyrinth of sorts, crammed full of numerous brick walls that separate the room into multiple small chambers, many of which contain groups of enemies. There are also gear launchers mounted inside the terrain, which launch spinning gears at preset angles. Hidden somewhere in the room are both a key and a locked door, as the player must locate them both to reach the next room.
The third room contains the same elements as the first but is more confining. At the last room, the black Bomberman will be rescued and the level will be completed.

Trivia[]
- This level used to be known as Planet Bomber.
- The music heard in this level is BMG #2 from Super Bomberman 3.
- The third room in this level was heavily revamped in the v0.88 Rev C version of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and no longer features a special ship, which functioned similarly to a Lakitu Cloud, that could be rode on through the level .
- Cog Guns and Pac-Man Ghosts were originally found in this level but were removed after the level was revamped.
