Battle for Mt. Hyjal was a planned level based on the World of Warcraft series during the early development of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and would had consisted of several zones and classic Mario-style gameplay. Both Legion's forces and classic Warcraft enemies would had appear. It was unknown on what world this level would had been in, but it most likely would had been in Adventurer's Domain, as that world was in its early development as a fantasy-based world (it was originally planned as a SHRUMP-based world) and the World of Warcraft is a fantasy-themed video game franchise.

- Unlike most scrapped levels, this level was never developed. Also, Legion would be completely scrapped and be replaced by The Fusionist as the main antagonist of MKF.
