Aqua Man is a water-based Robot Master from the Mega Man series. He originated from the 1997 (1996 in Japan) game Mega Man 8, where he is one of the bosses fought inside Wily Tower before Mega Man confronts Dr. Wily. Aqua Man has the unique ability to control water, from storing water inside himself to shooting water from the cannon attached to his arm. In order to attack, he can fire controllable jets of highly pressured water, or use his Special Weapon, the Water Balloon, to launch heavy spheres of water at his opponents.
In Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, Aqua Man is one of the two bosses in the level Robotic Reef, the other being Pirate Man. Unlike earlier World 3 levels that feature two bosses in the same level, Aqua Man and Pirate Man are fought as a tag team rather than separately in different parts of the level.
