Airship Antics is the 16th level in Alternate Earth.
Layout[]
The player is on a mission sent by the Peregrine Falcon Squad to chase the Rebel Army airship as it could possibly lead them to the hidden location of General Morden.
The first main area contains a long auto-scroll, as well as an airplane that the player can control. This part of the level presents SHMUP gameplay as the player must shoot down various enemies and avoid the missiles launched by the airship.
The second main area has the player enter the Rebel Army airship while battling their way against the Rebel Army's numerous soldiers and the forces from the Red Blood Falcon. At the end, the ship gets destroyed by the helicopters under the order of General Morden to prevent the player from discovering his hidden location.
The final section features the return of auto-scrolling and SHMUP gameplay, but this time, the scrolling goes down as the player returns to their plane as a group of Eaca-B planes are on the pursuit to stop the player from reach their base.
After the player survives the pursuit, they land on the mountain cliff, possibly from plane crashlanding. After that, the player grabs the flagpole and clears the level, in addition of witnessing a destroyed city as a war is about to begin.
